Lexcel
This is the Law Society's practice management standard. As a Lexcel accredited firm we pass a rigorous annual audit of our client service, internal processes, management systems and regulatory compliance. Note that Hileys of Thirsk and Easingwold merges with Harrowells LLP on 1 October 2011 and so the Thirsk and Easingwold offices will be assessed as part of the firm's annual Lexcel review in early 2012.
Legal 500
Legal 500 undertake an annual assessment of the reputation and quality of advice of the top 10% of law firms in the UK. Legal 500's independent review covers many, though not all, areas of law and our expertise is formally recognised in the following practice areas: corporate and commercial, commercial litigation, commercial property, employment law, personal injury claims, medical negligence claims, agricultural & estates, and family law.
Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
The Law Society CQS is the recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing legal work. To achieve this standard, our specialist conveyancing team has passed assessments relating to our legal expertise, our processes and our approach to client communication.
Individual accreditations
A number of specialist bodies have also formally accredited individual solicitors in our firm in recognition of expertise in particular areas of law, including:
