Work experience

Work experience provides a great way to get a sense of whether a particular career, working environment or organisation is right for you.

Vacation scheme for final year law students

For several years we have run a special scheme designed to give final law students a week long practical insight into ‘life at Harrowells’. Your work, supervised by a mentor, will involve researching particular areas of the law, drafting recommendations to a partner and drafting letters or other documents. You will also be given the opportunity to attend suitable client meetings or Court proceedings.

If you would like to take part in this scheme, complete the vacation scheme application form and send this to Catherine Kew-Robson at catherine.kewrobson@harrowells.co.uk. If you have a disability which means you can not complete the application form, please contact Catherine who will make alternative arrangements.

The scheme dates for 2012 are:

Easter: Monday 2nd April to Tuesday 10th April

Summer: Monday 25th June to Friday 29th June and Monday 2nd July to Friday 6th July

The closing date for both schemes is Friday 6th January 2012 and telephone interviews will be held in February.
