Colin has considerable experience of advising business, farming and private clients on a wide range of legal matters. He has particular expertise in dealing with the purchase and sale of agricultural land, commercial property and residential property as well as commercial leases, including farm business tenancies, and private leases.
Colin also advises on wider commercial matters such as the sale and purchase of businesses, both freehold and leasehold, and is able to draw on his knowledge of local markets to put his legal advice into a realistic, commercial contrext.
Prior to the merger of Hileys and Harrowells, Colin was a partner at Hileys for almost nine years and is well known in Thirsk and the surrounding area.
