Jonathan is a Partner in our Commercial Property team well known for delivering practical, no nonsense advice based on sound technical knowledge
Jonathan trained at Harrowells in the late 1990s before joining a large international law firm in Leeds. He returned to the firm in December 2011.
As a Partner in the commercial property team, Jonathan has acted for lenders, developers, investors and occupiers in the care, education and private sectors. He deals with all aspects of freehold and leasehold acquisition, disposal and management work.
In more recent years, Jonathan has worked on the legal structures for joint ventures and alternative funding solutions to enable significant development and investment opportunities "get off the ground" in the absence of more traditional sources of funding.
Over the past four years, Jonathan has been involved with a number of notable property deals in and around York and North Yorkshire.
