Energy Performance Certificates

If you are selling property you usually need an Energy Performance Certificate. We can help arrange this for you.

Although Home Information Packs (HIPs) have been abolished, you usually need to commission an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) as part of the process of putting you property in the market. We are happy to advise you on whether an EPC is required and can arrange to have this done for you.

The certificate rates the energy efficiency of your property in terms of various factors including heat retention (eg insulation of roofs, walls and windows) and the efficiency of your heating system. Property landlords are also expected to commission EPCs and we can advise on these requirements also.
