Employment Law Update & Hidden Disabilities in the Workplace

We regularly hold Employment Law Updates in York and in Thirsk conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) North Yorkshire.

Are you a senior manager with HR responsibilities or, perhaps, your organisation's sole 'HR person'?

Do you feel overwhelmed by all the 'guidance' out there but never really have a clear idea about what is 'critical' and what can be tackled at a later date? These events are designed to help you and are free to both non-members and members of CIPD.

We are holding two 'back-to-back' sessions. You can book to attend either or both sessions as you wish.

The first session, starting at 9am, is our regular Employment Law Update. You will get a pithy overview of both recent and forthcoming changes in employment law with the emphasis very much on the practical 'so what?'

The second session, starting at 11am, focuses on hidden disabilities in the workplace, particularly those concerning mental health. We will be looking at the legal implications of hidden disability, what organisations can do and what individuals can do for themselves.
