Alex Walsh is a specialist litigation solicitor who acts for a wide range of commercial and private clients.
Alex advises commercial clients on all types of commercial litigation, property litigation (on behalf of both commercial landlords and commercial tenants) and in relation to debt recovery. He also acts for private clients on residential landlord and tenant matters, including possession claims for landlords and defence work for tenants, other property or land-related litigation and in relation to matters such as contentious probate.
The Legal 500 (2018 edition), the independent study of leading law firms, notes that Alex, together with colleague Richard Hugill, 'provide an excellent service' and have 'a great deal of knowledge'.
Alex is an experienced litigator who, before joining Harrowells, worked on contentious matters for a number of large corporates, major private companies and high net worth individuals.
He is a member of the specialist and highly influential Property Litigation Association and is Chair of the Junior Property Litigation Association North. Alex qualified as a solicitor in 2016.
