Richard Hugill is a Partner in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department. He focuses on helping clients resolve a wide range of business disputes and is known as a tough, resourceful litigator.
Having previously worked at Walker Morris in Leeds, Richard joined Harrowells in 2006, becoming a Partner in 2008.
He advises and acts for clients in disputes relating to business contracts, partnerships and shareholder agreements, agreements for the sale and purchase of businesses and construction contracts. Richard also advises and represents clients in commercial property disputes, in particular dilapidations claims and other disputes arising out of business tenancies.
Richard is listed as "recommended" in the 2011 UK edition of the Legal 500, the independent guide to leading UK law firms. He presently sits on the Council of the Yorkshire Law Society and is a member of the York Guild of Building.
