Online Probate Application Service
This is a cost effective service particularly suited to executors who are reasonably confident about dealing with the Probate but who, nevertheless, welcome guidance from a regulated, experienced expert at a key stage in the process
What is a Grant of Probate?
A Grant of Probate is an official document which may be needed to administer an estate where someone has passed away. Where there is no Will it will be referred to as a Grant of Letters of Administration.
Cost effective expert help to save time and hassle
You can apply for the Grant of Probate yourself; this will involve you obtaining the forms from Court, completing them and then attending Court for interview.
Alternatively, you can use our quick and convenient online Probate application service; the main benefits are:
- There is no need to attend a Court interview
- You give us the briefest of details online about the person who passed away
- We telephone you at a time convenient to you to confirm the other details we require
- We do all the form filling efficiently and quickly as we are very familiar with these
- No need for lengthy interviews at our offices
- All you will need to do is sign the completed paperwork at a time convenient to you and we do the rest
- You will have one specialist dedicated to your case – no call centres or different departments to deal with
What will it cost?
For all applications below the inheritance tax threshold (currently £325,000) we have a fixed fee of £450 plus vat. There will also be:
- A Probate court fee of £155 plus 50p per copy document required
- A fee of £7 per executor for swearing your application (£5 each if there is no Will)
For estates over the inheritance tax threshold, we can supply an estimate on receipt of your enquiry form.
