Abuse, whether within institutions or at home, is something that is being recognised and tackled more openly now. Nevertheless, abuse can and does still occur.
CNCI is our specialist service for those who have suffered serious injury, including victims of physical or sexual abuse or of serious harassment. In the aftermath of any serious incident those who have suffered injury may seek explanations, support and advice. Later they may need to access more practical assistance or they may think about trying to recover compensation.
