The Garfitt Law Partnership merges with Harrowells

We are pleased to announce that specialist Private Client and Property law firm The Garfitt Law Partnership LLP will be merging with Harrowells Solicitors, with effect from 1st May 2025.

Both David Garfitt and Sally Robinson, who co-own The Garfitt Law Partnership, will be joining Harrowells and will continue to look after their clients’ affairs as they are doing now.

David and Sally have known the team at Harrowells over many years and both firms have a similar focus on providing high quality legal advice, very much tailored to the individual. David also practised some years ago at Powell and Young in Pocklington, which subsequently merged with Harrowells in 2013.

The merger means David and Sally can offer a wider range of legal advisory services, in addition to those they already provide to their clients. They will also be able to draw on the wider resources of a larger practice and so ensure holiday cover and additional support to their clients when required.

Clients of The Garfitt Law Partnership who valued the convenience of meeting David and Sally in Harrogate and Nidderdale will still be able to do so after the merger.
