Ed Ryder is a Solicitor and Partner and Head of the Private Client Department whose considered, commercial approach, and personable style help build a strong sense of trust with his clients.
Ed is experienced in advising clients on a wide range of private client issues but focuses on inheritance tax and succession planning for high net worth individuals through the use of trusts and Will planning, working closely with the client’s other professional advisors. Ed acts as a professional Trustee for many of his clients and has a particular interest in acting for business owners and farming clients which means he often works closely with Harrowells Corporate and Agricultural teams to ensure clients personal and business needs are considered in an overall planning context.
Ed has over 20 years' experience of advising on Private Client matters and is a member of the specialist Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
