Triathlon fund raiser for York Against Cancer

William Kaye, Marie Horner, Abbas Khan and Martin Thorpe successfully completed a 'Super Sprint' Triathlon at Castle Howard on Saturday 23rd July in aid of York Against Cancer as part of a fund raising initative organised by Peter Kay, current President of the Yorkshire Law Society.

Abbas, Martin and Marie formed a relay team, respectively completing a 400m open water swim in the Great Lake at Castle Howard, a 23km cycle race over the Howardian Hills and a 4km run - all in 1 hour, 26 minutes, 8 seconds! Other relay teams co-ordinated by the Yorkshire Law Society included Ware & Kay, Burn & Co, Andrew Jackson and Dere Street Chambers.

William Kaye, family law partner at Harrowells and competing as the York Law Society President official 'champion', completed the full course in a very impressive I hour, 8 minutes and 45 seconds and was third in a total field of over 300 competitors.
