Here at Harrowells, we regularly welcome new trainee solicitors to the business. The nature of our firm means we can offer a variety of work, client profile, office location and team structure.
Trainees have 6-month placements, or ‘seats’, in different departments within the business, where they have the opportunity to try working within a variety of areas of law including private client, family law, residential conveyancing, commercial and litigation.
This year we are thrilled to introduce three new trainees to our team, joining two current trainees in their second year of training. We have a group of bright, enthusiastic trainees ready to embark on their journey towards becoming fully qualified solicitors.
Meet our talented group of trainee solicitors:
Harry Iveson has worked with Harrowells as a Paralegal for a year and will now begin a specialist training contract with our Private Client team, providing advice and support to clients.
Georgia Legg has begun her first seat in our Family team, where she’s gaining insight into Family Law and supporting clients through what can be a difficult and emotional time.
Hannah Whiley has also begun in her first seat within the Private Client team, where she’s getting hands-on experience in drafting Wills, advising on Estate Planning, and assisting with Probate matters.
Charlotte Cousins is currently in her second seat, focusing on Commercial Property, where she will deepen her understanding of the legal intricacies of property transactions.
Lucy Thomson has also begun her second seat and has also joined our Private Client team, working alongside clients on matters such as Wills, Estate Planning and Probate. She’s looking forward to developing her expertise in this often complex area of law.
We’re committed to investing in the next generation of legal professionals, and we’re excited for all that lies ahead for our trainee solicitors. We are thrilled to have such a talented and driven group of trainees with us and look forward to helping them develop into exceptional solicitors.
We’re currently considering requirements for 2026 and beyond, so please keep an eye on our website for more details.
